How You Can Help

Working together, TRC Foundation and The Resource Center are Making a Difference in People’s Lives. But there’s more work to be done, and we can’t do it alone. We invite you to support our efforts in any of the following ways:

Make a Donation

A cash donation helps build TRC Foundation’s endowment, ensuring that critically needed funds will be available to support individuals with disabling conditions. And donations to TRC Foundation entitle you to become a member of The Resource Center. And membership has its benefits – area businesses who support our mission offer discounts to TRC members.

Make a Planned Gift

Many people would like to support TRC Foundation’s mission with a substantial gift, but they worry about relinquishing the income those assets generate, A Charitable Gift Annuity enables you to make a generous gift to TRC Foundation while providing you and/or another chosen individual with a high, fixed, guaranteed income for life. For information about Charitable Gift Annuities and other forms of Planned Giving, contact Karen LaSota, Resource Development, Research and Grants Coordinator, at (716) 661-1518 or karen.lasota@resourcecenter.org

Sponsor a Special Event

Sponsorship of the Gus Macker Basketball Tournament, Laurel Run or the Carl Cappa Memorial Classic is a win-win arrangement – your contribution helps provide additional funding to support people with disabling conditions, and you receive public recognition for your generosity. For information on sponsorship opportunities, contact Victoria Trass Bardo, Special Projects and Events Coordinator, at (716) 661-1477 or vicky.bardo@resourcecenter.org.

Participate in an Event

Whether being a volunteer Score Keeper at the Gus Macker or walking in Laurel Run, we value your participation in our events. Your participation allows you to be a part of the action and demonstrates to others that you support our efforts. For more information, contact Victoria Trass Bardo, Special Projects and Events Coordinator, at (716) 661-1477 or vicky.bardo@resourcecenter.org.
